Glen Doll Lodge is situated within the Cairngorms National Park at the foot of Glen Doll approximately half an hours drive from the busy town of Kirriemuir.

Everyone knows “The Ball of Kirriemuir”, the Star Rock Shop (best sweetie shop on the planet), Vissochi’s (ice cream heaven) and the Camera Obscura which is one of only three in Scotland donated to the town in 1930 by Sir J M Barrie.

The well known Angus Glens surround the property and provide for a range of outdoor activities especially walking with a number of way marked routes passing to the south of the property including Glendoll Forest, Whitewater Trail and the Dounalt Trail. Jocks Road to Braemar, Capel Mounth to Ballater Corrie Fee to Glen Clova and walks to Glen Prosen all pass the proerty and the tracks are open to horse riders, mountain bikers and cross country skiers.

Climbers are well catered for by the vast array of mixed terrain with tricky craggy valley sides being popular. High and low ground shooting is available on local estates with salmon fishing being available on the North and South Esks.
